Hi, I’m Yvonne ter Avest. Born in Kampen and raised in the province of Overijssel. I’ve always had a passion for traveling and wandering through streets filled with history. But it wasn’t until I guided family members in search of their roots that I discovered something special: traveling can also connect you with your own past.

Many families, like mine, emigrated after the war to countries such as Canada, the USA, or Australia. And often there comes a moment when children or grandchildren want to return. Back to the land of their (grand)parents.
Together we visit churches, old farms, streets, and villages that are part of your family history. Sometimes even stories resurface that have been forgotten for generations.
