A Small Book with a Big Story

Sometimes you think something small is just a childhood memory—until, years later, you open it again and discover its true meaning. That is what happened to me with my old poetry album. It is filled with handwritten verses from my father, mother, grandparents, and other family members. Back then, they were sweet little rhymes for a young girl. Today, they have become pieces of family history I never want to lose.

This poetry album is far more than just a book. It connects me to my roots and to the generations that came before me.

The page written by my father in 1967 still influences me today. His words remind me how important it is to spread joy. His handwriting and his wish feel so close, even now. Every time I turn its pages, I feel that deep connection.

“This is where I come from,” the little book seems to whisper. “This is me.”

And maybe you have something like this too—a poetry album, a handwritten letter, or a photo album that preserves your family history. Take a moment to open it. Discover where your roots lie—the story is often closer than you think.

With love,
Yvonne
